Why Audition for the Select Ensemble?

Collaborate Across Schools

“Select Ensemble allows us to appreciate the talent and skills of performers from other schools and districts whom we otherwise wouldn’t get a chance to collaborate with.”

Build Lifelong Connections

“We make so many connections that we’d never have without Select. It brings energy to the ceremony, and I like to think we inspire others to keep following their dreams.”

Equal Opportunities for All

“Select Ensemble allows us to appreciate the talent and skills of performers from other schools and districts whom we otherwise wouldn’t get a chance to collaborate with.”

“Select allows students to collaborate with professionals and learn high-value skills in musical theatre to bring back to our campuses at home.”

Professional Development

A Platform for Growth

"It’s an amazing opportunity for students from smaller schools to experience a bigger, more professional theatre program and to grow beyond what their schools offer.”

Celebrate, Don’t Compete

"Select’s existence helps the entire show be a celebration of talent and not just a competition. It creates unity among schools, emphasizing sportsmanship and lifting each other up.”

To help cover basic expenses such as program t-shirts, food, and snacks, there is a $150 participation fee. Students may also be responsible for providing some personal costume pieces.
